Gorgeous Gardens celebrated at Clanmil in Bloom Awards Posted on 23 August 2024
The gardening talents of Clanmil customers of all ages were celebrated at the recent Clanmil ln Bloom awards at Belfast Castle.
Clanmil in Bloom is an annual competition that aims to acknowledge and reward Clanmil customers who take a keen interest in keeping the green spaces around their homes looking the very best they can. It also gives customers with green fingers and a passion for gardening a chance to showcase their handiwork.
Almost 100 Clanmil customers and staff joined together at Belfast Castle on Thursday 22 August for our award ceremony as well as a beautiful afternoon tea and wonderful entertainment, a 'singing chef' provided by Cameoflage. Winners and runners-up were then presented with their awards.
Eliza Martin, Community Investment Manager at Clanmil said:
“Thank you to all of our customers who participated in this year’s Clanmil in Bloom. Your presence made this occasion truly special. At Clanmil, we appreciate the time and effort you put into making it a success. Congratulations to all the winners, and thank you to everyone for your contributions and enthusiasm. We look forward to seeing you at next year’s Clanmil in Bloom event!.”
This year’s awards were presented by Clanmil Chief Executive, Carol McTaggart, Clanmil Vice Chair, Maria McCann, Group Director of Assets, Tony Giffen, Director of Customer and Communities, Pól Callaghan, member of the Board of Clanmil, John Hannigan, Community Investment Manager, Eliza Martin, and John Ross, Managing Director of Greentown, who kindly sponsored the prizes at this years' Clanmil in Bloom event.
