Cullingtree Meadows
Cullingtree Meadows is a modern supported housing scheme for people living with dementia. It’s a partnership between Belfast Health and Social Care Trust and Clanmil Housing Association.
The facility provides 30 modern, high-quality apartments. Each apartment can be furnished and decorated as the tenant choses. There are homely communal areas and a beautiful garden combining comfort, independence, and support.
A range of one and two-bedroom apartments are available, designed to accommodate a partner or carer.
Cullingtree Meadows is located close to the Grosvenor Road and local amenities, public transport and the city centre.
Care and support
Cullingtree Meadows combines the very best of housing design, care and support. Tenants are encouraged to remain independent and stay actively involved in all decisions about their health and wellbeing. Social activities are available on a regular basis, from shopping trips to gardening and arts and crafts. These activities:
- help promote quality of life
- give tenants a chance to enjoy each other’s company
- keep tenants connected with the local community
Belfast Trust staff provide 24-hour care and support according to each person’s assessed needs and a range of assistive technology within each apartment help keep tenants safe, so that people with dementia can continue to live independently in a home of their own.
