Glenshesk Court is an independent living scheme located in Ballycastle right by the sea on the North Coast.  The scheme offers the convenience of bus routes which take you to towns situated close to Ballycastle; Coleraine, Portrush, Ballymoney and Ballymena.  

Glenshesk Court offers 28 bedrooms with one bedroom and three bedroom flats.

The scheme has a spacious common room, comfortable seating, TV and a kitchen. Facilities include a guest room for residents' friends/families and a laundry room. 

As with all Clanmil independent schemes, a scheme coordinator is on hand to offer assistance and organize activities for residents while a 24-hour emergency call system is in place. 

While residents have their own apartments, they also enjoy an active social life with activities, coffee mornings, lunch clubs and days out. 

Glenshesk Court is a few minutes walk from the beach, harbour, shops and 20-minute boat journey to Rathlin Island which you can see from Ballycastle, and on a bright day you can see Scotland. 

To apply for social housing in Northern Ireland, including a home in an independent living scheme managed by Clanmil, you need to submit an application form to the Northern Ireland Housing Executive (NIHE). All applications for social housing, including homes with Clanmil, are assessed by the Northern Ireland Housing Executive (NIHE) using the Housing Selection Scheme.
